Gold Medal Squared is the collaborative effort of some of our country’s most successful and experienced volleyball coaches. Founded by the late Dr. Carl McGown in the mid-80s, our staff has been at the top of the game at every level: High School, Club, Collegiate, Professional Foreign Leagues, and International competition.

Carl, together with gold medal-winning and Hall of Fame coaches, Dr. Marv Dunphy and Dr. Doug Beal, helped create the science-based, proven teaching methods and principles that are the foundation of Gold Medal Squared. These methods have been tested and proven over 40 years and are easy for both coaches and athletes to teach and learn.
